Class Structure

  • Level: All Fitness Levels

    This class is designed specifically for first-time boxers and newer students who want to learn the fundamentals in a structured, supportive environment. You don’t need any experience — we’ll teach you everything from stance and footwork to defense, timing, and confidence-building drills. If you’ve never thrown a punch before, this is the perfect place to start.

  • Format: Small Group Classes (Max 10–12 Participants)

    Our Cardio Boxing Classes are high-energy and community-driven, combining personal focus with group motivation.


    Each class includes:


    • Shadowboxing and technique warm-ups
    • Punch combination drills
    • Heavy bag and pad work
    • Core and conditioning circuits
    • Recovery and stretching rounds

    No sparring. No contact. Just pure boxing fitness.

  • Location: Modern Warriors Gym – New Westminster, BC

    Tailored pad work, defensive drills, and cardio/strength circuits designed to enhance both performance and endurance.

  • Duration: 60-Minute Classes

    Each class runs approximately 60 minutes, combining warm-up drills, technique breakdowns, mitt work, and conditioning. The format keeps energy high and learning progressive — you’ll leave every session feeling stronger, sharper, and more skilled.

  • Schedule: Morning, Evening & Weekend Options

    Join a schedule that fits your life — we offer morning, evening, and weekend Cardio Boxing sessions throughout the week.

  • Equipment Provided: Gloves & Hand Wraps available for beginners

    Don’t worry about gear — we’ve got you covered. First-time students can borrow boxing gloves and hand wraps at no extra charge. Once you’re ready to continue training, our team can recommend affordable, high-quality gear options tailored to your needs and comfort level.

  • Do I need any experience to join?

    No experience is required. Our Beginner Boxing Classes are designed for complete beginners. We start with stance, movement, and defense before advancing to combinations and light drills.

  • Do I need to be fit before starting boxing?

    Not at all. Boxing will get you fit. We tailor each class to your fitness level so you can build strength and endurance safely over time.

  • What equipment should I bring?

    Bring comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle. We provide gloves and wraps for first-timers, but you can bring your own if you prefer.

  • Are these classes safe for beginners?

    Yes. We maintain strict safety protocols and focus on technique and control over sparring or contact. All drills are supervised by Coach Jason to ensure safety.

  • How are these classes different from regular boxing gyms?

    Our program focuses on education and technique, not just fitness. You’ll learn real boxing skills from a coach with a proven record of training provincial medalists.

  • Can I move to private coaching later?

    Absolutely. Many students transition from group classes to one-on-one private sessions for personalized development and competitive training.
