Class Structure

  • Level: All Levels Welcome

    This program is open to beginners, intermediate students, and fitness-minded individuals who want practical self-defense skills rooted in real boxing. Whether you’ve never thrown a punch before or you’ve trained for years, each session adjusts to your level while emphasizing control and safety.

  • Format: Small Group Training (Maximum 8 Students per Coach)

    We keep our class sizes intentionally small — no more than eight students per instructor — so every participant receives personal attention, technical feedback, and correction. You’ll train in a semi-private environment that allows for both group motivation and individual improvement, ensuring quality instruction in every round.

  • Location: Modern Warriors Gym – New Westminster, BC

    Classes are held at Modern Warriors Gym, a professional, well-equipped facility ideal for technical and defensive training. The gym’s supportive atmosphere helps students focus on skill development without intimidation. Conveniently located in New Westminster, it’s easily accessible from Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, and Coquitlam.

  • Duration: 60-minute classes

    Each class lasts 60 minutes and combines technical boxing drills with functional conditioning. Expect a perfect mix of skill learning, high-intensity training, and cooldown recovery — all designed to improve fitness and performance simultaneously.

  • Schedule: Flexible Weekly Options

    We offer multiple morning, evening, and weekend classes every week, allowing you to train consistently around your schedule. Sessions are progressive — the more you attend, the deeper your skill set becomes.

  • Equipment Provided: Gloves & Wraps for Beginners

    First-timers can borrow gloves and wraps for free. For continued training, Coach Jason can recommend affordable, high-quality protective gear to match your needs and level.

  • Will there be sparring?

    No sparring is required for this class. We emphasize defensive drills, reaction work, and safe partner exercises instead of heavy contact.

  • How often should I attend to see results?

    With 2–3 sessions per week, most students see major improvements in confidence, fitness, and technique within a few weeks.

  • What should I bring?

    Comfortable workout clothes, water, and a towel. Gloves and wraps are available if you don’t have your own.
